# Departure during the month

The HackerHouse does not make overnight stays or non whole stays cause the direct debit system cannot refund the fees collected by the HackerHouse from the owner.

\
You can shorten your stay by giving 1 calendar month's notice.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Checkout can only be on the 1st of the month.
{% endhint %}

Example :

{% hint style="success" %}
Advance notice on March 6 means that your withdrawal will be active until May 1.
{% endhint %}

If there is an anticiped departure it will be necessary to respect a 30 days advance notice either by email to <julie@hackerhouse.paris> or via the HackerHouse platform.

Example : If you wish to stay in a HackerHouse for 3 and a half months, you will still be charged for 4 full months.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://coliving.hackerhouse.paris/book-and-move-in/change-my-stay/departure-during-the-month.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
